Frequently Asked Questions
So what exactly do you do?
I'm a real estate agent who works specifically with families going
through probate. I help you understand where the property stands
legally, walk through your real options, and either represent you
in a traditional listing or help coordinate a private off-market
sale — whichever path actually fits your situation.
Does this cost me anything?
No. There's no cost or obligation to talk through your situation,
request information, or get a breakdown of your options.
Do I still need an attorney?
For legal questions specific to the estate, yes — an estate
attorney is the right resource, and I'm glad to make an
introduction. My role is focused on the property itself, not legal
administration of the estate.
What if there's more than one heir?
This is common, and it's important to identify early — since in
many cases all heirs need to agree and sign before a sale can move
forward. I can help clarify who actually needs to be involved based
on your specific situation.
How is this different from a typical cash-for-houses investor?
Most of those offers arrive without any explanation of the process
itself, and without a licensed agent's obligations around
disclosure. My role as an agent is to walk through the actual
numbers for every realistic option — not just a single figure —
so you can make an informed decision with the full picture in
front of you, not just the one option being pushed.
Is there pressure to go in any particular direction?
No. Part of what I do is help you compare listing traditionally
against selling off-market honestly — including the real trade-offs
of each. My role is to lay out the options clearly, not to steer
you. The right path is whichever one actually fits your family.
What if we're not ready to make a decision yet?
That's completely fine. A lot of what I offer — like understanding
the timeline or protecting a vacant property — is useful regardless
of when or whether you decide to sell.
